Dean arrived at my house at 8:15 AM

We got a cool ride from the cool ride people and picked up Jeff Hancks.

We drove across a remote landscape that some find stark and full of suicidal forboding and that's on a good day.

Two hours later we arrived at Heartland Community College

At first we were confident that we knew where we were going.

But, then, we discovered we were lost

Eventually we found the room and the all important sign-up sheet. Note the customary free purple CARLI pens. Next door there was (no kidding) a professional development class for prison guards. Throughout the day we periodically heard people being thrown down on mats.
